The Story

Who doesn’t love a great story? As authors and literary lovers, we get the transforming power of a good book. For Jayme H. Mansfield, the founder and lead consultant for Cowgirl Publishing, the story began with a fast gallop across a southern Wyoming butte, a burst of tears (of joy!), and the slap of wind in the face to realize that to fully capture dreams, one has to loosen the reins and ride! Thus, after a rodeo buck pivot, she and her husband left their long-time home in Colorado and headed west for ranch and country living.

Now, Jayme continues to write books, paint, host writing and art retreats, ride horses, move cows, and walk her dog and pet bull calf, Tucker (a story for another day!). However, at her core, she is passionate about helping others pursue and achieve their creative dreams. Thus, with her extensive writing and publishing experience, Jayme founded Cowgirl Publishing — Saddling Up with Authors from Manuscript to Marketplace.
