This retreat may not be specific to writing, but it’s a creative’s dream! Plus, it’s no surprise that many writers are artists, and vice versa! In addition to being an author, Jayme H. Mansfield, has been a painter and art instructor for decades and hosts Heaven on Earth ~ Horse & Art Retreats at the ranch. For six nights and seven days at the historic, top-rated, Wyoming guest ranch in the breathtaking Centennial Valley, we’ll create art, ride horses, breathe a little deeper and smile a lot wider!
The Vee Bar Ranch family and wranglers know their horses! Based on your level of riding and horse experience (all levels welcome), you’ll become best buds with the perfect horse who will journey with you through grassy meadows and rivers, along mountain paths, herd cows and calves, and partner for good ol’ Western fun and games. We’ll ride each day in sunshine or snow (yes, the weather does what it does, especially at 8,000 ft. elevation), and bask in the spectacular autumn colors.
